⏱ Prep: 20 mins🍳 Cook: 5 mins⌛ Total: 25 mins🍕 Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • LEMON COOLER: 4 lemons (juice)
  • 1/4 cup sugar or honey
  • 1 litre cold water
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • Black salt to taste
  • Fresh mint leaves and ice
  • MANGO LASSI: 2 ripe Alphonso mangoes, pulped
  • 1 cup thick curd
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • Ice cubes
  • WATERMELON MINT: 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp black salt
  • Ice and soda water

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. LEMON COOLER: Dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup warm water to make a simple syrup. Cool completely.
  2. Add lemon juice, chaat masala, and black salt to the syrup.
  3. Mix with cold water, taste and adjust sweetness. Add ice and garnish with mint.
  4. MANGO LASSI: Blend mango pulp, curd, milk, sugar, and cardamom until silky smooth.
  5. Pour over ice and optionally sprinkle a pinch of cardamom on top. Serve chilled.
  6. WATERMELON MINT JUICE: Blend watermelon, mint leaves, lemon juice, and sugar until smooth.
  7. Strain through a sieve to remove pulp (optional if you prefer it pulpy).
  8. Add black salt and stir in chilled soda water just before serving over ice.
Chef's Tip: For the richest mango lassi, use homemade curd set using full-cream milk. Avoid commercial fruit juices – fresh fruit always wins for both nutrition and taste.
